chocolate chip pumpkin muffins

2 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 1/2 c. shredded fresh pumpkin
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. toasted pumpkin seeds

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.

Mix together the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

In another bowl, mix the sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla.

Combine both mixtures and fold in the shredded pumpkin and chocolate chips. If mixture is too wet, add more flour.

Pour into a greased muffin pan.

Bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
