In 11th grade, my psychology teacher suggested seeing this film in class one day. I watched it at 16 and it changed my perception on movies right then and there. It was probably the most violent movie I'd ever seen at that point in my life and it was a little hard to take in at times. But, on a psychological stance, it made it's point loud and clear.
A good movie if you can stomach a little violence.
