Flamma Aeterna Firedancing Equipment and Supplies

written by k. suzanne henderson

Flamma Aeterna Website

I hosted a fire prop workshop on November 15, 2003. I ordered my ball chain and some fire rope from Flamma Aeterna. The customer services I received was wonderful; They were interested in my projects and were very helpful in getting me the information I needed for my order.

The biggest advantage to Flamma Aeterna was the shipping and response times. There were very helpful in making sure that I'd get the order in time for my workshop and were able to get it to me in a couple days at a reasonable price.

I also ordered from Renegade Juggling for the same workshop. I was not as impressed with their service. I recommend going to Flamma Aeterna for fire prop supplies.

For fire rope, get the higher quality and slightly more expensive rope. Since I was running short on funds, I bought the lesser quality and it's not good enough to use for the monkey fist poi that I planned to make. However, I think it will work well on torches.

June 2004 Update: Several friends have started ordering from them and have been impressed and happy with their orders. Also, I found a Monkey's Fist Poi Tutorial on their site, very useful information.
