I saw mny first pair of Monkey's Fist wicks in Spring 2003 at Playa del Fuego. I liked the curve arc of the flame as they were spun and the intensity of the fire. I tried making a set and ended up with not enough rope and not the best design.
Today I noticed that Flamma Aeterna Firedancing Equipment and Supplies added a monkey's fist tutorial. Nice!
