I suggest finding a good picture of a horse. Use that as a guide as you manipulate the wire.
First make the head. It is harder to fix the head and so you should make sure you have it right to start with. Picture.
Next connect a couple wires for the neck, back, and chest. Try to keep things in proportion as you form them. Picture.
Add the main body parts. Don't forget the legs. The leftover wire should meet at the bottom to form the tail. Picture.
Finally, add in detail with fine wire. Picture.
Obviously, this is a project that takes effort and creativity on your part. Having a good picture to work from is important to make sure you keep everything balanced. Have fun with it.
